Italian Students at NMSTU

The Master’s students from the University of Padua AntonioComazzetto and MattiaFranceschi are currently studying at NMSTU under the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme. During one semester, they will do theoretical and practical training, which will form the basis for their Master’s theses.

With the purpose of promoting cooperation, NMSTU’s vice rector for international affairs Aleksey Korchunov has recently paid a visit to the Technical University of Ostrava in the Czech Republic. This modern university with an over 170-year history has one of the largest campuses in Central Europe and houses the National Supercomputer Centre, the only one in the country.

Cross-Cultural Management

NMSTU’s Institute of Further Training and Human Resources Engineering Gorizont is working on implementing an EMBA General Management international post-diploma programme. Congratulations!

Researchers from the flagship university of the Chelyabinsk Region, together with their Italian colleagues, will be looking for new ways to utilise TRIP steel in metalware industry.

Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University has won a grant of one the major charity foundations of Italy. The foundation will provide funding to support a research project that will look at using TRIP steel in metalware production.

NMSTU Ranks in TOP-300 of QS EECA

This year, Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University again ranked in TOP-300 of the QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia ranking.

For the third year in a row, NMSTU is ranked in TOP-300 of the QS EECA ranking, which ranks universities from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine. This year, more indicators were used for evaluation. Thus, this year’s ranking included such indicator as International Cooperation in Scientific Research, which looks at the international projects, joint publications and grants a university is involved in.
