Master Class from New York Islanders Player

On July 10, Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University housed a press conference with Nikolay Kulemin, a member of the Russian National Ice Hockey Team and a player of NHL’s New York Islanders. The press conference gathered to talk about the master class that Nikolay Kulemin was to hold on 12th July for the members of Metallurg-Magnitogorsk Olympic Reserve Junior Sports School.

“Thanks to Metallurg Ice Hockey School I grew up to become a good player. I have a special feeling when I reminisce about those days when I was learning to play ice hockey and the players of the actual team at the time would come visit our classes. It was a great motivation for all of us. I honestly wish I had more free time to hold such master classes more frequently. The Club ‘Stalnye Serdtsa’ (or ‘Steel Hearts’ when translated from Russian), for which I act as Honorary President, is headed in the right direction helping me to allocate more time to training young players.”
